Vision Mission

Vision

  • All children will have the means and access to education, nourishment and shelter.
  • All women will achieve independence with proper adequate education and vocational training.
  • Senior Citizens, the old and infirm will remain in the mainstream of society under proper care.
  • All Indians will have two square meals a day; have adequate clothing to cover them and a proper roof over their heads.

This is a very tall task indeed. But as the adage goes, a thousand-mile journey begins with the first step. The people associated with it have followed their vision with a missionary zeal and proved that determination is a path that only leads to success.

Mission

  • Care for the old and infirm and sometimes psychologically affected people from various families- either abandoned as their age advanced or with children not living with them under various compelling circumstances.
  • Train and guide unemployed youth under Vocational Training Programmes.
  • SMCT will help in building self-reliance, and not dependence, among the under-privileged.
  • SMCT will ensure gainful employment and optimum resource utilization of people within the aided groups.
