Achievements

In a short span of time, since the Trust has reached out to people, it has several noteworthy achievements to its credit. Having acquired a property in Nagadevanahalli, close to the satellite town of Kengeri in Bangalore South, the Trust has been successful in putting up a structure of 15,000 sft. With three floors where it now houses the Old Age Home and the shelter for children - poor orphaned and disabled.

A large Community Hall, which also doubles as a Training Center, is made available to people with lesser means at modest charges for conducting their functions such as Weddings, Naming ceremonies etc.

  • Running an Orphanage for 50 children

  • Running an Old age home for 20 senior citizens

  • Given Employment to 30 youths Free Daily meals

  • Formed more than 100 Women Self Help Groups.

  • Organized and sponsored more than 25 different cultural and social activities

  • Regular Yoga and Meditation camps for women, children and village people.

  • Distribution of free books and clothes to the needy children of Bangalore and rural areas

  • Giving Scholarships to selected students all over the country to support their education and life

  • Free Health and Eye check-up camps. Free cataract eye operation for selected patients

  • Self employment training programs like tailoring, screen printing, knitting, candle making, mat making, paper bag making, phenyl manufacturing etc.

  • Organized more than 100 Street plays in slums to create awareness about health and cleanliness

  • Conducting cultural competitions "Prathibha Karanji" for school and college students to bring out their hidden talents every year

  • Sponsored Rain water Harvesting awareness programs.

  • Organized Family counseling and Legal awareness camps for Rural women
